Letter from the Desk of the Chief Executive Officer

Ammon Analytical Laboratories (Ammon Labs) has a core mission to build a culture of clinical lab excellence, a strong ethical environment and a culture of learning. The hallmark of an effective compliance program requires that we exercise due diligence in seeking and preventing illegal and unethical conduct by establishing our Code of Conduct. Ammon Labs is committed to assist employees and business partners to integrate these values, ethics, and principles within our Code of Conduct into all aspects of operations.

As the Chief Executive Officer, I have appointed and charged the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer (“CECO”), Donna Rooney, JD, RN, CHC, CPC, to have the overall authority and responsibility to oversee compliance standards and expectations for all employees, contractors, and vendors. The CECO’s goal is to maintain a structure and process that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with legal requirements and company policies, resulting in quality care, accurate financial practices, and organizational excellence. An important component of the CECO’s responsibilities is to have a constant and systematic risk assessment to detect illegal or unethical conduct as well as having in place our Ammon Labs Compliance Hotline system whereby employees can report potential noncompliant conduct by others within Ammon Labs without fear of reprisal. Our Compliance Program only is effective when standards are consistently enforced through appropriate disciplinary measures as well as taking reasonable steps, when a problem is discovered, to implement corrective action and any necessary program modifications.

To accomplish our goal of achieving the highest level of ethics and honesty among our employees, we require that every employee be required to undergo Code of Conduct training annually and that new employees are required to undergo training during the onboarding process.

We recognize there have been many employees adversely effected by Covid over the last 2 years which have posed many challenges. Together, as we embark on this new chapter for Ammon in 2022, we will grow and accomplish great strides as we work as a team. I am proud of our employees and look forward to serving you as your Chief Executive Officer.

Respectfully,

Stephen Haupt,  Chief Executive Officer
